The history of the company began 25 years ago, when the founder of the company Sławomir Jastrzębski, as a young boy, started his adventure with driving a car. His father was his driving instructor who bestowed upon him his passion and driving experience. It was then that the young man saw what his dream really was.

At the beginning of his professional career he became a driver in Wojewódzki Zakład Transportu Mleczarskiego (Provincial Dairy Transport Company) in Ciechanów. At the same time, he set up his own business providing transport services for the international market, in which he was both a driver and a truck mechanic.

He became involved in another project for several years. Yet, his dreams and passion prevailed, and so he returned to the transport industry. In 2007, he founded Spedycja i Transport Acropol. With his wife, he started to build the business using little more than a single computer.

Nowadays, Acropol employs more than 200 people. The headquarters are located in the office building on Chopin street in Kalisz, while the company’s branches are located in Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Ostrów Wielkopolski and Lublin.

Protecting the environment is very important to us. Therefore, on a daily basis we strive to be as green as possible. In our company we:

• recycle paper, plastic and glass in every office,
• carpool,
• use electronic documents, whenever possible,
• power our headquarters with renewable energy (photovoltaic panels),
• heat our buildings using modern condensing furnaces,
• reduce the heat transfer into the offices with the use of protective films on windows,
• encourage our drivers to ecodrive as a fuel-saving practice.

Acropol’s fleet of trucks allows us to carry out orders in even the most distant parts of Europe.

The ISO 9001 certificate, issued by the well-respected TUV NORD organisation attests the highest quality of our services. Security is our middle name, as is proven by the Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play certificate which we have obtained three times already!
